Benefiting the Blaffer Art Museum at the University of Houston
Hosted by Ben Ackerley, Kaleta Blaffer Johnson, & Sebastian Keitel
“Art is the highest form of hope.” -Gerhard Richter
Join us for a vibrant, art-filled evening at Cocktails in the Courtyard, celebrating and supporting an exciting year of contemporary art & community at the Blaffer Art Museum.
Set within the dynamic University of Houston Arts District, the evening unfolds across the Louise J. Moran Courtyard and the newly completed Wilhelmina’s Grove—outdoor spaces activated for the night with music, conversation, and unexpected experiences. Guests will enjoy thoughtfully crafted cocktails, seasonal bites, and live music alongside artists, patrons, and creative voices from across Houston. Exhibitions will be on view inside the museum, with additional vignettes throughout the grounds, and paired with a curated silent auction of original creations and exciting experiences.
This festive evening is more than a celebration. Proceeds make possible the Blaffer Art Museum’s bold exhibitions, thought-provoking programs, and impactful educational initiatives, ensuring continued access to adventurous contemporary art for students of all ages and our Houston community.
