UHCL at Pearland and The Astros Foundation are pleased to present Reading Around the Bases, a literacy event for children K-5, on Friday, July 28, from 2-5 p.m. at UHCL at Pearland. This is a free event that's open to the public, so be sure to bring your friends and family. Activities include a story time session with Pearland ISD Superintendent Berger, free popcorn and frozen treats (while supplies last), and a free book for children in grades K-5. Texas native Tim Kerr’s art will be on display in the University of Houston- Clear Lake Art Gallery from July 17 through August 25. We're so pleased to announce that UHCL's very own, Dr. Dorothea C. Lerman, has published a new book to help learners prepare for social demands in the workplace.
Dr. Lerman is a professor of psychology and the director of the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities here at UHCL. She has published more than 80 research articles and chapters. This is her first book.
