2025 Amy K. Sater Award - University of Houston

Amy K. Sater Award for Excellence in Undergraduate and Graduate Research

Dr. Sater was the Department Chair of Biology and Biochemistry from 2015-2024. She was the first woman to hold this position in the department's history. This award in Dr. Sater's honor will be given to one graduate student and one undergraduate student each year who has performed outstanding research.
